In Power BI i often use custom tooltips on icons to provide context, show more analysis on the current screen, or explain definitions. Recently, I’ve been doing this with the new card visual. This way, the user doesn’t need to click, and everything remains in one layer. Plus, the performance is excellent! It’s a win-win situation.
